When a small start-up bank wanted to establish itself in northern Rhode Island, it faced some formidable barriers to entry. Several, well-entrenched large banks with a regional focus were scattered up and down its street. Products offered by the new bank were either largely the same as those offered by competitors or competitors offered a broader product mix. Here’s what we did to help the bank create a new brand and position itself to compete in the local market.
